Die vierzehnjährige Lulu zieht mit ihrer Mutter und dem jüngeren Bruder in einen kleinen Ort. Eines Nachts wird ihr Bruder von einem weissen Lichtstrahl getroffen. Es handelt sich dabei um die Seele von Herman Hartmann aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Lulu stellt fest, dass Herman nun in ihrem Bruder steckt und so verstricken sie sich in ein grosses Abenteuer.
