Grouped in their vehicles, the family escapes, but they are quickly besieged. The family fights through and manages to clear a path to escape. On the way to the supposed safety, they stop at a gas station and refuel. Itzel and Paula separate from the rest of the group, leaving together in one of the abandoned vehicles.

The blinding light dazzles the inhabitants of the farm. The family wastes no time making the house as secure as possible. Victoria shares a theory with Damián about the archeaological sites of the Mayan civilization. Pedro Joven and Paula go to the Vargas family's farm to steal medical supplies.

Another local family visits the farm in hopes to barter for provisions. Victoria is persuaded by her assistant, Ignacio, to consider the possibility of an alien invasion. The CEOs of the largest social networks suspend their operations, claiming that the cause of the chaos is due to the failure of an algorithm. Some on the farm believe it, but others are doubtful.
