Desperate for a career leap, YAN stays up late to work on a proposal but the proposal happens to fall into the hands of KAU later on. She tries to give MAN a few words of comfort but ends up tossing him into the sea accidentally. YAT and CHUN finally come face to face at work but CHUN explains that the woman is just her look-alike.

LUN believes that FUNG has had an affair with TSZ. To vent his anger, LUN not only punches FUNG and hurls insults at her but also sends a bunch of rascals to the clinic to cause trouble for TSZ. It is not until this point that TSZ comes to realize it is FUNG who has made all the arrangements for the treatment. FUNG is so disappointed in LUN and decides to concentrate on running the restaurant.

The restaurant’s business is booming but LUN has gradually slipped back into the same old habits. He offers to help explore business opportunities and takes it as an excuse to go out every day. He is desperate to be the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce but is continually teased about his horrible English. He is not going to give up and tries to win more votes by every possible means.

TSZ and FUNG devote themselves to running the restaurant and are aiming to produce the best Peking Duck in Beijing. To prevent them from getting too close, LUN needs SIN to take up FUNG’s work in the kitchen. FUNG and TSZ have no choice but to accept the arrangement. LUN finally manages to convince FUNG to help with the matchmaking between TSZ and SIN.

The boss of an upmarket restaurant thinks so highly of CHO and invites him to work as a guest chef in Guangzhou. CHO wants TSZ to go with him as he can notice that Beijing is in a time of great upheaval and under threat of foreign invasion. TSZ asks FUNG to leave the WONGs and stay with him, but is rejected. TSZ feels heartbroken when FUNG turns him down.
3. Dazed and Confused

LUN falls into the trap laid by HEEN. FUNG and TSZ are framed for committing adultery. HEEN’s plot seems to work out well. Except for HEI, no one from the family is on FUNG’s side. HEI believes FUNG to be innocent, but she alone cannot get the girl out of the trouble. FUNG is expelled from WONG’s family while TSZ is going to be thrown into the well as a death sentence.
2. Love Will Find a Way

FUNG is prepared to move on to a new stage in life when her wedding night has finally come. She is, however, unaware that the man she marries is nothing but a playboy and a feckless lay about. LUN does not consummate his marriage to FUNG on the wedding night, and worse than that, he places a bet on the color of FUNG’s underwear just in order to win a night with FA CHIN-HUNG.

NGAI YU-FUNG and YU TSZ have known each other since they were kids. Despite his deep affection for FUNG, TSZ dare not take the relationship any further due to the substantial social gap between them.
