Desperate for winter meat, Becky, Dene and their 3-year-old daughter Thi are on the hunt in the Barren Lands for Musk Ox. Kim and Pierre try to out fox a pesky wolf that threatens their new trap line. Jon and his brother Lee take advantage of the arctic temperatures and move a hunting cabin across a frozen lake and Bentley begins the delicate job of preparing a much coveted wolf hide and skull for market.
7. Cold Harvest

Sub-zero temperatures and unrelenting snow create challenges for those living off the grid in the vast Canadian wilderness. Kim and Pierre are determined to expand their trapping territory. Jon and his brother Lee search the tundra for a herd of Musk Ox. Bentley transports a cache of much needed supplies to his most remote camp and Becky carves out some time with her dog team as she embarks on a multi-day solo training trip.

In the Canadian wilderness, sub-zero temperatures turn the simplest tasks into life-threatening chores. Kim and Pierre must deal with a pesky wolverine that has moved into their territory and threatens their trap line. Jon and his wife Lally brave the vast expanses to find fresh food for their family. Bentley is concerned about a wolf that is getting too close to his camp, so he sets his sights on catching this beautiful but deadly predator.

Winter has arrived in Canadian wilderness bringing new challenges, perils, and opportunities for our intrepid characters. Becky begins training her 3-year-old daughter Thi how to be a dog musher. Kim and Pierre start laying their trap line, on the hunt for Beaver. Jon is on an odyssey for the most essential resource required to survive, firewood, and Bentley and his dad brave an unforgiving frozen lake in search of a steady supply of fresh fish.
4. Trail Blazing

Winter is fast approaching, and our characters don’t have much time left to get ready for the brutal season ahead. Becky pushes herself to the limit clearing a trail for her sled dogs. It’s prime moose hunting season and Kim and Pierre finally have some luck. Jon and his sons build a traditional Inuit sled, essential for the coming winter and Bentley and his dad must clear obstacles in Schade lake so they can safely land their float plane.
3. Hell or High Water

Our characters continue their winter prep. Becky and Dene attempt to pump water from the lake to their house up a steep slope when Dene takes a hard fall. Bentley and Felicia are fishing on Schade Lake and get stranded as their boat stalls. Jonathan is cutting trees to make planks for a woodshed for his remote cabin and Kim and Pierre continue their hunt for winter meat and are on the trail of a bull moose they hope will fill their stores.
2. Seal the Deal

Winter is coming and our intrepid characters in Northern Canada are prepping for the cold and harsh months to come. Jonathan is on Ungava Bay seal hunting as the search for winter meat becomes more urgent. Kim and Pierre make a traditional emergency food called “pemmican”. Becky and Dene build an enclosure to protect their beloved dogs from predators and Bentley and Felicia go hunting for an elusive and intelligent animal, the beaver.
1. Fresh Starts

Our intrepid characters are prepping for winter. Kim and Pierre upgrade their shelter to protect themselves from bears. Becky and Dene drop a net in Great Slave lake to try and catch enough fish to feed their 11 dogs. Bentley and Felicia go hunting for moose in hopes of providing meat for their extended family and Jonathan takes his jetboat up the dangerous Mélèzes river in hopes of intercepting a herd of caribou.
