Bernarda plans to divorce Ramiro, and tells her daughter the truth about his relationship with Alexia, bringing Jimena to a breaking point. Jonathan and Noelia are desperate for a story for the premiere of “La hora cero.” León shows Ramiro the arrest warrant for Jimena — if he wants to save his daughter, he must confess. After Bernarda informs Ramiro of everything that’s happened, he decides that he will confess on his show, and gives Noelia Lima’s confession to air on “La hora cero.” On “Toda la verdad”, Ramiro comes clean about Alexia’s death while Lima watches and relishes Ramiro’s fall from grace. At the same time, “La hora cero” is sewing the seeds for Lima’s own demise. The next morning, Ramiro arrives to turn himself in, where León is waiting for him.

The police arrive at the station with a subpoena for Jimena after connecting her to the IP address. At the DA’s office, Jimena confesses that she was in love with Alexia, and unknowingly reveals information about her father in the process. Jimena’s questioning sends shockwaves across social media. Bernarda makes a surprising revelation, and later asks Ramiro to convince Lima to get the DA’s office to back off of Jimena. Lima, however, conditions his help on Ramiro doing his part to clean up Altamirano's image. But Ramiro slyly finds a way to get the upper hand on Lima's true connection to Altamirano. Rivera is pressured by higher ups to arrest Jimena, as she has motive and lacks an alibi, but León — knowing that Ramiro was with Alexia when she died — asks Rivera for more time while he tries to get Ramiro to crack under the pressure.

Bernarda cuts ties with Eva and Lima. Platas threatens Ramiro to try to get him to rehabilitate his image with the public. León moves to collect prints from people surrounding Alexia, which causes Ramiro’s paranoia to boil over: he refuses to provide his fingerprints, which solidifies León’s suspicions. Later, Ramiro infuriates Lima by airing out Altamirano’s dirty business deals during their interview.

Figueroa gives Ramiro a video of police breaking protocols at the crime scene of Alexia’s death, which Ramiro airs on his show. The video causes fallout in the DA’s office. Jimena’s investigation into Altamirano reveals that he and Lima are connected through a collection of shell companies. Also, the cybercrime unit identifies a person of interest from Alexia’s social media activity.

The identity of the murdered man is revealed. Eva seeks a bigger cut after learning about Bernarda’s deal. Jimena plans to move out of the house; at the same time, she continues her investigation into Altamirano. Lima uses his deal with Bernarda to flex his strength over Ramiro. On his show, Ramiro seeks to draw a connection between Alexia's death and the doping revelations. Figueroa’s information-seeking mission into Pacheco takes a fatal turn and he is forced to give Ramiro unfortunate news. Ramiro receives another anonymous message — signifying that Pacheco wasn’t the sender of the first message.

Alexia’s cellphone is given to a technician, while her coach offers up an alibi when interrogated. Eva makes it clear that Bernarda can’t get rid of her so easily. Ramiro’s investigative team is frustrated by the tabloid coverage of Alexia’s death. Marcos offers up his DNA to avoid being placed in custody again, but the judge rules that he’s to be sent to jail; under threat from the DA’s office, Marcos reveals that one the night of Alexia’s murder, he was with the girlfriend of a narco. Jimena organizes a candlelight vigil for Alexia with Delia, while Ramiro’s attendance upsets the attendees. León pushes Platas to ask for fingerprint samples from Alexia’s family and friends, but Platas is hesitant to do so as he wants to avoid a media firestorm. Also, Ramiro orders Figueroa to put Pacheco into check and a man is found executed in Chapultepec.

Marcos is released on bail. After being hectored with a business deal by his neighbor Pacheco, Ramiro seeks out help to find out who Pacheco really is. Sami investigates Alexia’s teammates and learns that Alexia was given PEDs by her coach. The district attorney’s office moves to get rid of the print lifted at Alexia’s house. Lima introduces Ramiro to Altamirano, and later Lima informs Bernarda that her company has been awarded a huge contract that may be too big for her business to handle. Jimena pushes Marcos to agree to an interview with her dad. When the two men finally sit down, Ramiro is unable to get Marcos to admit to Alexia’s doping, and when Marcos brings up the print found at Alexia’s, Ramiro has no choice but to steer the interview towards Alexia’s coach.
