In Dunkirk, over 300,000 Allied troops board hundreds of ships and sail for England. France is in chaos. In the Great Exodus, the French people take to the roads, trying to escape. On June 17, Pétain, now running the government, calls for a cease-fire, whereas De Gaulle, on June 18, appeals for resistance. But the Armistice is signed. Half the country is now occupied by the Germans; the other half is subjected to the Vichy regime. France offers its coasts and airfields to the Germans, who want to invade England. Will Britain be more successful than France at surviving this Apocalypse?

The Nazi apocalypse strikes in Sedan, spreading across the Somme, all the way to the Channel, Britain’s last bastion. Her Expeditionary Force attempts to flee through the port of Dunkirk. Will Hitler allow this escape?
