The special grade cursed spirit, Hanami, suddenly intrudes on the Exchange Event. Fushiguro, Inumaki, and Kamo face off against Hanami, defending themselves as they race to cross the veil. The three are driven into a corner when Maki joins the fight and strings together a chain of attacks in combination with Fushiguro.

Battles are starting to be decided in different locations on the first day of the Exchange Event. Fushiguro faces off against Kamo, the heir to one of the three major clans. Kamo uses Blood Manipulation, a technique that controls his own blood, while Fushiguro fights him with shikigami and martial arts.
