High atop the mountains, Sadie and her ski patrol handler, Andy, show Bill how an avalanche rescue dog is trained. Later, Bill travels to the Los Angeles International Airport, where he meets a brigade of luggage-sniffing beagles, The Beagle Brigade! These intrepid heroes protect us from unwanted pests often found on meat and produce and brought into the country by unsuspecting travelers. Bill travels to Hollywood, California to meet Monte, the star of Disney’s live-action movie, Lady and the Tramp. Monte's trainer shows Bill some of the fundamentals of how to train a dog to be a movie star — and how to push a meatball with his nose! Later, Bill heads to Reno, Nevada where he meets a group of 100 Walker hounds on a picturesque ranch located high in the Sierra mountains. These floppy-eared hounds join a group of horses for their playful reenactments of old-time “fox hunts” — now without the fox! On Pluto’s Pointers, Bill gives tips on how to keep your dog healthy and looking their best. Goofy’s Hometown Hero is a border collie, named Barley, who helps sniff out and protect endangered ferrets.

Then, Bill heads to Placerville, California to meet Mila the Truffle Huntress, a Lagotto Romangolo who is an expert at finding truffles that grow underground. 6. Stunt Dogs & Water Rescue Dogs

Bill travels to French Camp, California to meet a troupe of performing stunt dogs. Trainer Chris Perondi and his wife, Suhey, travel the world with their Extreme Stunt Dogs extravaganza. After watching a show, Bill learns how the dogs are trained to do the eye-popping stunts. Next, Bill heads down to Southern California’s Castaic Lake in order to meet Tucker, a two-year-old Newfoundland, who is training to become a water rescue dog. Tucker’s handler Celia shows Bill how she first trains Tucker on land, just to learn the basics of water rescue. Then, they're off to the lake where Bill meets an entire team of Newfoundlands who are all trying to pass their Water Rescue Dog certification exams. Mayor Brynn and her handler Jordie give Bill a VIP tour of Rabbit Hash, where he learns how the town began electing mayors who are dogs. Then, Bill is off to Yorktown Heights, New York to meet Tricia, a Labrador who is a specially trained guide dog. Her handler Chaz is a long-distance runner who is visually impaired. As Chaz and Tricia train for the 2020 Paralympic Games, Bill learns how this unique dog is trained — and even gets his own lesson with a guide dog.
