Bill travels to Hollywood, California to meet Monte, the star of Disney’s live-action movie, Lady and the Tramp. Monte's trainer shows Bill some of the fundamentals of how to train a dog to be a movie star — and how to push a meatball with his nose! Later, Bill heads to Reno, Nevada where he meets a group of 100 Walker hounds on a picturesque ranch located high in the Sierra mountains. These floppy-eared hounds join a group of horses for their playful reenactments of old-time “fox hunts” — now without the fox! Bill travels to French Camp, California to meet a troupe of performing stunt dogs. Trainer Chris Perondi and his wife, Suhey, travel the world with their Extreme Stunt Dogs extravaganza. After watching a show, Bill learns how the dogs are trained to do the eye-popping stunts. Next, Bill heads down to Southern California’s Castaic Lake in order to meet Tucker, a two-year-old Newfoundland, who is training to become a water rescue dog. Tucker’s handler Celia shows Bill how she first trains Tucker on land, just to learn the basics of water rescue. Then, they're off to the lake where Bill meets an entire team of Newfoundlands who are all trying to pass their Water Rescue Dog certification exams.
