Nat, una treintañera que se ha mudado a La Escapa, un pequeño núcleo rural. En ese precario entorno la joven intenta reconstruir su vida. Después de enfrentarse a la hostilidad de su casero y la desconfianza de los habitantes del pueblo, Nat se descubre a sí misma aceptando una inquietante propuesta sexual de su vecino Andreas que le hará poner en cuestión el tipo de mujer que cree ser.
