Reece is inspired by Christopher to try to track down the dad that he has never met, desperate to understand his family history and to shed some light on why he is the way he is, he asks Jodie to reveal his dad's identity. When she tells him that his name is Disneyland Darren, Christopher has Reece's back every step of the way in the search for his dad - when they do eventually track him down, his identity is a huge shock and Reece is left to wonder if this is a relationship that he wants to pursue. Meanwhile, Aimee and Mia-Louise fall out as Aimee is worried that Ziad is scamming Mia-Louise for money. Mia-Louise bites back by telling her that she's embarrassing herself by being interested in Christopher as he isn't interested in 'girls like her'. Keen to prove the other wrong, the girls' feud intensifies...

It's Aimee's big night at the opening of the school play, but she questions whether to show up with deepening problems at home and the rest of school thinking that she posted defamatory TikToks. Meanwhile, Reece's middle-class cousin Tyreece comes to stay with him and Jodie; he's been given a final warning by the police and his mum wants him to get away from the 'bad influence' mates she believes to be the problem, but he wastes no time in stealing some parcels from a delivery van to impress the boys. When Christopher's mum's ring goes missing, Christopher believes Reece took it as he's the only person who knew where he kept it. Their burgeoning relationship is rocked as their class assumptions about each other are back to the fore, but Reece is forced to make a tough decision when he discovers who actually did steal the ring.

It's Careers Week at the school and Christopher's taking it very seriously, but Reece and the boys see it as an opportunity to slack off. When a local barrister conducts a mock trial in class, Reece and Christopher end up as rival solicitors in a case about who has hacked Aimee's TikTok and posted videos ridiculing other girls at the school in a bid to sabotage her reputation. The chief suspect is her ex, Lewis, but Reece discovers fresh evidence that leads to a dramatic conclusion to the trial. Elsewhere, casting director Jenson, who claims to be a man of the people, holds auditions for a new film depicting working-class kids. Aimee's thrilled, but not only is she having trouble at home as her dad Wayne is unwell, but slick, polished and middle-class Grace seems to be impressing Jenson.

Meanwhile, Mia-Louise is worried that Ziad might be gay as he doesn't want to have sex with her, Mo is still acting like a devout Muslim in the hope of getting closer with The Brimble, and Christopher and Aimee bond over their Romeo and Juliet scenes.

It's Diversity and Inclusion Week and The Brimble, the most 'woke' girl at the school, has convinced the headmaster that the pupils should be set the task of pairing up with their polar opposite and present their differences and common ground in a presentation. Mo, who has fancied The Brimble for ages, spots his opportunity to try and impress her by suggesting they team up as he claims he is a devout practising Muslim. Fascinated by his alleged faith, The Brimble leaps at the chance and asks if she can come to his house to observe a real Muslim family - keen to keep up the pretence, Mo calls his non-practicing Muslim parents and begs them to help him out. They agree... but when Mo and The Brimble arrive at the house, it becomes apparent that they are going to teach their son a life lesson about truth and faith.

Recently-orphaned Southerner Christopher goes to live with his nan on a council estate in Liverpool - there he forms an unlikely unholy alliance with working-class Reece. On the verge of being expelled, Reece convinces his school's headmaster to give him one last chance and allow him to mentor Christopher to prove that he can positively contribute to the school - despite their differences, a friendship develops between the pair until Christopher throws Reece under the bus in order to impress a girl. An angry Reece can't resist getting his revenge on Christopher, but will this ruin his chances of remaining at the school? Meanwhile, Aimee reluctantly gives her boyfriend Lewis a gift to help with his sexual needs, but she soon learns that he has been cheating on her and seeks revenge...
