Today: Lauren is injured but okay after Andy's attack. As Caitlin and Thunderbird struggle to save the life of Michael, an acid-excreting mutant injured in the Inner Circle's chaotic liberation of a psychiatric hospital, they discover clues to the identity of the powerful mutant, Rebecca – aka Twist – who Polaris and Andy were sent to retrieve. At the Inner Circle's sanctum, Rebecca won't speak to her new caretakers/captors, so Andy tries to get her to open up. But as the battered girl regains her confidence, she engages in some reckless behavior. Back with the Underground, to keep the refugee mutants from the hospital safe, Blink suggests to an incredulous Eclipse that they take them to the Morlocks. On the way, Glow, a mutant with similar powers to Eclipse, offers some hope and optimism. Meanwhile, Blink has words with a reluctant Erg, who asks a favor in return. As Jace joins up with the Purifiers to chase down the escaped mutants, he tries to talk them down from violent public action, suggesting an alternate plan.
