Topher must decide between the insidious plots of Rossum or joining with the demoted Adelle regarding his invention of an even more evolved method of mind control. Boyd badgers Adelle into becoming the woman she once was, not revealing that he knows where Echo is hiding – or that he has been in communication with Paul.
