But she is old and most of her previous offspring are male so the succession of her throne is an uneasy and as yet unanswered question.

Identified by her burnt orange gaze, she leads a pride of five closely-related lionesses and their six offspring. They overcome every challenge as a precision unit: the gauntlet of the buffalo hunt or the upheaval of new males that could either decimate the prides ranks or offer her the chance to finally mother cubs.
