Una donna sposata e un uomo solo si incontrano: si amano, si sostengono a vicenda e infine volano pugni mentre un cane vaga tra città e campagna. Le stagioni passano e l'uomo e la donna si incontrano nuovamente. Questa volta il cane si trova con loro e i due diventano tre ma l'ex marito distrugge ogni cosa. Un secondo film comincia, lo stesso di prima ma anche diverso.
