Marc pierde su tren para volver a París y conoce a Sylvie. Vagan hasta la noche, hablando de todo, excepto de ellos mismos, en completa armonía. Cuando Marc se va, acuerdan encontrarse unos días más tarde. Sylvie acude a la cita pero Marc no. Mientras, Marc conoce a otra mujer, Sophie, sin saber que es la hermana de Sylvie.
