Description

So he can spend a few days playing poker with his pals, Jerry Warriner (Cary Grant) convinces his wife Lucy (Irene Dunne) that he is going to Florida. Upon returning home, Jerry learns that Lucy had been out all night with another man and, unwilling to believe her explanation, he seeks a divorce that includes rights to visit their dog, Mr. Smith. Although Lucy starts seeing someone new, she still loves Jerry. But when her plan to explain the misunderstanding that's come between them backfires, Lucy drives Jerry into another woman's arms.
